Cheri Nelson spent more than 40 years inside the insurance industry, building her career with State Farm and Farm Bureau before launching her own independent agency in Goose Creek, South Carolina in 2013.
The reason was simple: after decades of watching captive agents limited to a single company's products, she knew families and businesses deserved better. Better options. Better advice. A better relationship with the person managing their coverage.

Cheri has been in the insurance industry for more than 40 years and founded Cheri Nelson Insurance Agency in 2013 after building her career with State Farm and Farm Bureau. She handles both personal lines and commercial coverage, bringing decades of underwriting insight and client advocacy to every policy she writes. Cheri built CNIA on the belief that Lowcountry families and businesses deserve an agent who knows the local market, explains coverage clearly, and stays in their corner long after the policy is issued.

Cameron has been part of the agency for 8 years and specializes in commercial, personal, and life insurance. A Charleston native, he helps clients across the Lowcountry protect what matters most — their homes, families, vehicles, and businesses. Outside the office, Cameron spends his time with family, at sporting events, and at the beach.
